Dubai Pro Am 2021 Recap

Well, it’s been a few days since I got back from Dubai, and I’ve got to say all in all from a golfing perspective it was a bitter sweet week. I can’t remember my long game being as good as it was this past week, and whilst it was somewhat unexpected, I was disappointed not to capitalise on such good form from tee to green. To say I putted poorly was an understatement, and especially on greens where there are not only no excuses but also no margin for error.

Never the less what a great experience, the 4 day tournament was ran superbly by albatross events, playing the earth course and Majilis especially is always a very humbling experience. I couldn’t have wished for a better team. Steve, Shaine and Paul Striker were a pleasure to play with and a great craic off the course.

Moving forward I’m looking forward to getting back to what I enjoy best, helping others improve. I'm looking forward to being a part of the new and exciting changes at Hickleton and who knows, I might even play a bit more competitive golf next season, who knows.
